TONY PIGOTT - BASEBALL (ALL ASPECTS) - FOUNDER OF HARD KNOX BASEBALL

Tony played at Elon University where he was drafted and played for 7 years in the Tampa Bay organization.  He played 2 years with the Rockford Riverhawks (now Aviators) until beginning the Hard Knox Baseball program and professional instruction.  Tony specializes in hitting and fielding, but also works with all positions including pitching and catching.

DENNIS SCARPETTA - PITCHING

Dennis played 2 years of professional baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies organization as a pitcher. Dennis has been doing pitching and hitting instruction since 1994. In 2000, Dennis formed the travel baseball team, Boyz of Summer. The Boyz of summer had 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 World Series appearances which included two trips to Puerto Rico and an exhibition game against Japan. Many of the players from the Boyz of Summer class of 2010 were very successful. Seven of the twelve players signed Division 1 scholarships, one of whom was drafted by the Texas Rangers. Additionally, five players went to top junior colleges in Illinois. Since 2010, nine players have signed to play Division 1, one is playing Division 3, and eight played at junior colleges.

GABE DEMARCO - CATCHING/HITTING

Gabe has played at various levels of competitive baseball including Illinois State University, Rockford Aviators and Normal Cornbelters.

He can work with players at the catching position as well as hitting.

PATRICK O'SULLIVAN - ROCKFORD AVIATORS HITTING INSTRUCTOR
 
O’Sullivan played collegiately for three years at NAIA Freed-Hardeman University and a year at Austin Peay State. He was a two-time all-conference and all-region selection and was named an NAIA All-American in 1998 as well as the Tennessee Small College Player of the Year. He holds FHU records for single season batting average, on-base percentage, doubles and extra base hits and the career records for batting average, home runs and slugging percentage. O’Sullivan was inducted into the FHU Athletics Hall of Fame.

The Mets picked O’Sullivan in the 34th round of the 1999 draft. He spent much of his career in the Class AAA Mexican League and in domestic independent leagues as a professional hitter. O’Sullivan hit at least 20 home runs in five straight seasons, 2004-08. In 2004, he hit a career-best 37 homers in a combined 143 games between San Luis Potosi in Mexico and Edinburg in the now-defunct Central League. He was a Mexican League All-Star that season

ZACH STONER - CHICAGO WHITE SOX MINOR LEAGUE ORGANIZATION - CATCHING/HITTING

Zach Stoner has played the last two seasons with the Bristol White Sox after being selected in the 12th round of the MLB draft in 2012.  Zach will be returning to a new team in the organization this upcoming spring but will be available for lessons until he returns in February.
